Hi Shayne,
Applying doesn't mean you immediately join the Army. So yes, you can still apply, but you'll have to pass the fitness tests at the assessment centre before you can go to Basic Training.
Fitness is a lifelong journey and having clear goals in life can really help: maybe you could start your application process as a motivator to improve your fitness level to the Army standard?
(There's nothing to say you have to pass first time, either, so don't be afraid to fail!)
