Lew O. asked a question to Thomas J.
Hello,
Both are great career choices, and it depends what you're after from your career.
Army nurses can be both soldiers or officers, so if you wish to go down the officer route then I would recommend a career in nursing.
In regards to future career opportunities, there are plenty for both, although nurses are more likely to stay clinical, and generally will have more transferable clinical qualifications for when they leave the Army - saying that, there are CMTs who train as paramedics while in the Army later on in their careers.
Best of luck with your decision.
