Im 39, 17 Stone and my BMI is 34 would this stop me from joining, im also on medication for anxiety and depression

Unfortunately 39 is too old for regular service. Unless you are going in as a professionally qualified role. However the reserves would be another option for yourself at that age. In regards to the BMI 34 is slightly too high 32 is maximum score which they can recommend a pass but ideally need to be below 30 for a guaranteed pass
