i’m 17, 5’10 and weigh 9st13. My BMI says ‘33rd Centile’ im unsure if thus means my BMI is too high for Regular entry?

I have already been too assessment (was medically deffered and now cleared) and awaiting to go back, i have gained some weight (approx 11lbs) and today i re-calculated my BMI using NHS website. it says i am in the 33rd Centile. is this too high? will i have to loose the weight i put on?

    Hello,

The NHS calculator won't give you a BMI value if you are under the age of 18, instead it gives you a centile. 33rd centile is low rather than high.

With the figures you have provided, your actual BMI would be just under 20, this is a healthy weight and within the normal range. I would not advise loosing weight.
