Im 14 15 in September. what can i do as in the army role at this age?

    Thanks for your question.

    To join the British army as a soldier you need to be 18, but you can start Junior Entry Soldier training at Harrogate between 16 years, and 17 years and 5 months.

    You can start your application for this when you're 15 years and 7 months, but you won't be able to go to the assessment centre until you're at least 15 years and 9 months old.

    If you are under 17 years 6 months when you start training you will attend Army Foundation College, as a Junior Solider, before starting Standard Entry training. If you’re older than that then you go straight into Basic Training.

    If you’re still too young to apply for Harrogate maybe you could consider joining the Army Cadet Force which is a youth organisation which offers many fun, adventurous activities and will introduce you to military training.
