    Hello,
If you join the British Army as a junior solider your terms and conditions of service are a little different to joining at 18-35. Your time in the the army before you are 18 will not count towards your 4 years minimum service however while you are under 18 years of age you can leave the army at any time with a few week notice. Once you turn 18 you will be obliged to then do 4 years on top of the time you have already done.
Thanks and if you have any other questions please let me know.
