As a nurse in the Army you will be qualified with the NMC which will allow you to work within your specific field within the NHS when you leave. As a medic you will have the opportunity to be able to gain EMT/AAP qualifications which allow you to work on ambulances and progress to paramedic. This however is a highly competitive field and is not always guaranteed.
