If I was to join as infantry would I be able to change later on to a trade in the army

    Sorry spelling error, so you can go into a trade even after going into infantry and finding it isn't for you?

    Yes you can join infantry and give it a go, if you find it isn’t for you you can change cap badge and get a trade
