Hi Ryan, Yes the National Recruiting Centre will pay for your travel to assessment centre when you attend.
If however you mean your nearest Army Careers Centre, you would have to phone them to ask if they provide that service.
Thank you for your question.
i ment to my first appointment from like the assessment the medical training (ect) also do i pay and give the receipt or something? also is accommodation provided when attending from a long distance? i don't suppose you know where the nearest army assessment centre and army base to Scarborough is do you I've tried looking but with no look at all? sorry for the long question and thank you very much
Hi Ryan, I believe your nearest Recruiting Office is in York, their phone number is 01904 623653, give them a ring with your specific questions and see if they can assist.
Thank you for your question.
thank you very much mate what role did you join up as I'm thinking maybe rifles/infantry
I joined the Welsh Guards (Infantry) in 1986 and completed 24 years service, I finished at the rank of WO1. I have been in 3 Royal Welsh (Infantry) since.
Rifles is a really good choice, you will have a full brief once you go for your first visit to the Careers Office.
nice...do you have to go to the careers office first or can you just apply and crack on?
You can put complete your online application and further direction will be given to you via the portal that will be set up for you.
thank you very much mate
can you join the army reserves if you take propranal or lansoprazole? also when it says to be enlisted before your 36th birthday does that mean apply by then or complete your assessment day by then?
