I only want to learn a bit and I have to return home to someone so I cannot stay the additional 4 years after for I turn 18. I'm just wondering if I can do a year apprenticeship or even just the amount to get paid and learn a decent amount. I'm turning 17 in April 3rd so if apprenticeship is possible I hope to leave before April 3rd next year
Ty, thanks for your question.
No, this isn't something you'd be able to do. Try to see it from the Army's position as an employer, they would be spending thousands on you and you wouldn't be around long enough to make the investment worthwhile.
I hope that answers your question.
