If I’m training in pirbright for the royal artillery is there any chance I can transfer to the guards during training ?

Hello Jack,
It's extremely unlikely.
Re-trading is possible, but it isn't a decision that should be taken lightly. Among other reasons, you will have signed a contract to join the Royal Artillery, so the Army would have filled a job position that will need to be refilled.
If you want to join the Guards, it would probably be best to do that in the first instance.
