If I did not get in a chosen regiment at sandhurst could I transfer to that regiment as a soilder rather than an officer

Hi Jack,
You find out your Regiment just over half way through your officer training so even if an officer cadet does not get their first choice they most likely still continue to commission in an area they chose. From my experience, it is not common for officer cadets to leave Sandhurst at this point as they have worked so hard to get there and achieved so much already.
