If after a few years as a CMT, I would like to leave the army, would I already be qualified for a job like a paramedic?

As a combat medical technician would I have to do extra training when I leave to become an nhs paramedic

    Hello,

The CMT qualification itself is not transferable to the NHS. If you left you would have to complete the full paramedic course to work as a paramedic.
However some CMTs will train as paramedics during their Army career.
