If a bad guy has a knife to a hostages neck or head why not just shoot that bad guy in the head or hand?
(Badly explained because of character limit) basically you always see this situations in movies but instead of just shooting the person to drop the guy dead they always try to talk down the situation when they would want to kill him anyway. So I’m confused as to why that is a bad decision.

so are job is to protect others from harm and if we can stop a situation like this without harming anyone then that is what we would do its not all about just going in and hurting others its all about working out a solution to stop anyone getting hurt films are not how it is in real life hope this helps
