I already have a degree in human biosciences so I can prove I can do a degree and meet entry requirements
There is no pathway within the Army that allows you to do this so therefore you would have to leave to go to University to do your medical degree. You may still be eligible through a Bursary or depending on the number of years service you have completed the Army may fully fund your degree. If you are still interested in a career in the Army as a GDMO then you would need to reapply through the professionally qualified route completing 10 weeks of training as an officer this can be done once registered with the GMC. Further training will then be done in house allowing you to fully complete your medical degree and further funding can then be achieved to go your specialist route.
