Hi, there are lots of people in the army who wear rings- engagement, wedding rings or just because they can. You are allowed to wear jewellery (religious (ie a small cross on a necklace) or small ear ring studs as long as it doesn't impede on your work.) You are not allowed to wear facial jewellery (nose piercings, eyebrow rings etc). If you were doing something that might involve something dangerous then you may be told to remove your ring but that would be to protect yourself. I hope that helps.
