I was wondering if the reserve London guards do ceremonies and stand outside Buckingham palace, or do they just fight?

The London Guards do take part in some ceremonial events such as the Lord Mayor’s parade but they do not regularly conduct guards. This is a role fulfilled by soldiers from the Regular Household Division.
