Hi George, for regular entry soldiers you don't require any, but for officer entry you do and for fitness standards you need to be able to pass the 2 km run in 10 minutes 15 seconds, mid thigh pull 76kg and a medicine pull throw at 3.1m
There is an app called 100% Army Fit that can guide you on your fitness
Hi Macauley. Thank you would you be able to help with the same question but for intelligence corps?
GCSE A-C/9-4 in English Language and 4 other subjects.
Fitness - Run 11 min 15 secs
Mid thigh pull - 46kg
Medicine Ball Throw - 2.9m
Ok thank you for that it really helps
Hi. Just wondering would I need to complete the beep test for the infantry, officer or intelligence corp if so what would I need?
For any role as an officer, you will need to do a beep test
Ok thanks. Is there a requirement for it or not?
8.7
Ok thank you Macauley
Are there any fitness tips you could give for the running and medicine ball throw and mid thigh pull, or would the 100% army fit app help with that?
Press-ups are good
If you download the 100% Army Fit App it will guide you
Ok thank you is there an amount which I need to aim for as I do swimming most nights of the week normally but I don’t have much core strength. But I’ve been doing an army workout I found on social media and it has helped but are there any tips you could give to help improve them?
Our main tip would be to follow the Army Fit app as this will help get you fully ready for the fitness test with full body workouts, Definitely make sure your fitness is up to the standards before attending assessment centre
Ok thank you ash I will get that later. Do I need to subscribe to anything or is it free to use?
The 100% Army fit app is free :)
Ok thank you Gabriella
