Hi, i was thinking about becoming an armourer and i was just wondering if i would ever be in any fighting situations.

The possibility could never be ruled out but it will be very much dependent on what unit you are serving with and whether we are engaged in conflict. As an armourer you will normally be at a base location and repair and maintain the weapon systems for the fighting elements.
