I want to know what duties you undertake apart from obvious things. Are you ever posted to the front line?

Greg H. Royal Military Police Nco

    Hi Ben,

As Royal Military Police our duties can be varied. Once you have completed your training and spent a some time getting some experience in the field of policing you can work in specialist roles in areas such as crime scene examiner, criminal intelligence, close protection or as a detective. There are many different areas in which you can work and these are just a small representation.

As for deploying onto the front line, it is common practice for teams of combat units working on the ground to have RMP attached to them. This is because of the expert knowledge we can provide on detainee handling, forensic awareness and continuity of the evidence chain. Everyone who joins the Royal Military Police undergoes basic military training prior to trade trading. This means that we are all soldiers who can be deployed at any time to any place.

If there is anything more you need to know, I will be happy to answer as best I can.

    Greg
