I am 14 years old and I have been inspired to join the Military though I am too young I have no idea what to do I want to join the military since I know there are intelligence branches of the Army and I have always been fond of using my brains and muscles and I feel like the army can give what my interests point too. Yet where do I start with this?
Hi Rudy,
Your best place to find out the information on all of our trades is the Army Jobs role finder here - https://jobs.army.mod.uk/regular-army/find-a-role/.
Some of our roles can be joined at 16 years old, all of which is detailed on each page. These soldiers who join at 16 - 16.5 years old undertake their training at the Army Foundation College at Harrogate. If it is a role in intelligence you are looking for then your best bet is to stay in school or college to achieve the GCSEs you need to do this. Our Military Intelligence Operators join from 17.5 and you can find more info here - https://jobs.army.mod.uk/roles/intelligence-corps/operator-military-intelligence/.
If it is something you would love to pursue then I would highly recommend it. Work hard, find a role you are passionate about and get you application in when you are ready!
