Hi there Ali
Helping to stop the illegal wildlife trade is a task that the Army does but it is not specifically tied to one unit. It is often Infantry who are employed to do this but it rotates. If this is your main driver for joining my then I would consider if you would be willing to risk that your unit didn’t get to do it. If it is a secondary driver then joining the infantry would Give you the best chance of doing this and the making your chain of command aware this is what you would like to do. That way if any opportunities arise that you are suited for then you stand a better chance of being chosen
I hope this helps
