I think you need to figure out what it is about being an Army medic that appeals to you. I wouldn't worry about not being tough enough, that's what Basic Training is for! You will learn how to be a soldier and your mental and physical robustness will improve. The squeamish side may be an issue. Some medics may not see real blood for most of their career but I can certainly guarantee you will train to treat fake wounds with fake blood during medic training. Possibly look at the other roles the Army has to offer and if you decide you are too squeamish, then at least you have a back up plan!
