Good morning.
I am making an assumption that you are currently in education and if this is wrong please forgive me. My advice would be to get as much from your education as possible. The army will always be here and will always be recruiting however your dedicated time to do education will not. Yes you can complete education in the army but this will be along side your work. If you do more before you join then you will open up more options that you potentially would have if you did not.
Outside that I would look to find a role you love but also if possible speak to any soldiers you know or soldiers in recruiting centres. That way you can find a role with people you are similar to. You will have to live with them for at least 3 years so it’s important to consider both aspects.
Finally understand what you want from your time in the army, is it a trade, is it travel etc. different parts of the army are more likely to do different things so if you k ow what you hope to get out of it then it will better inform your decision.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it 😁
