I'd recommend you search Army jobs. There are a wide variety to choose from and all professional/ rank dependent.

Minimum is £26,000 for a Soldier with Officers starting at £34,676, £41,456 (after training)

Some professional roles break this mold such as Nurses, Drs, Lawyers as some examples.

Search Army jobs and have a look across the Army website to learn more and determine the prerequisites of each area.

Whilst you will find some areas of a career in the Army good for a healthy work/life balance. Typically this doesn't happen as much as some would like. This is down to a whole host of factors. What it boils down to is the commitment we have as Soldiers. We are a cohort of extremely selfless people and fully embrace the challenging lifestyle that comes with it.

I'm married and have 5 children, so it works, but it takes an equally robust family to provide support in this career.

I'd recommend to all to at least give it a go as it is a career that rewards us for our sacrifices that are often taken for granted in the civilian world.
