I've just enrolled and was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to improve my stamina for the fitness test

    Hi.

I assume you mean the bleep test speaking of stamina.

The best thing you can do to prepare for the fitness assessment is to practice the bleep tests as often as you can. There are a number of free apps available on the app stores. Be sure to download the correct distance (20m) as the Uk Police have a bleep test app but it is only 15m for their test. It is still beneficial to go on normal runs, such a 5km or longer. However this type of running is steady, unlike the bleep test which naturally becomes more difficult as the test goes on.

Thank you, I read somewhere that it's a requirement to run 2km in a set time, and at the moment I can do about 600km in under 3 minutes before my legs start to give out which is my main concern
