It is partially true, the RMP aren’t the most liked, but who likes getting told off when they have done something wrong.
Its probably only a small percentage of soldiers that dislike the RMP and when I have worked with other cap badges, I have never encountered any problems or issues, or heard of any colleagues being treated unfairly because of the job we do. Only the occasional bit of banter which can be expected.
Your still a soldier first like every other person but you have a specialist role in the RMP and when attached you can be a valuable asset to any unit.
