I torn my ACL roughly 7/8 years ago and I have been turned away from joining the Royal Navy , could I still join?

There is a set criteria, this would not necessarily be a ban from joining however there may be a recommendation for a time bar in which to allow for recovery 7-8 years should be enough time unless otherwise advised by the med team. Or they may want you to complete a training programme to prove that it no longer presents an issue and that you can keep up with the demands of the British Army.

I tried to join 1/2 years ago online and it’s not allowing me to apply because I think when I did my online application I clicked ( knee, ligaments ) injuries and i havnt never been able to go beyond thr online process . So where would I go from here eg. Getting into contact with someone or writing a letter ? Cheers

For guidance on this you would need to call the NRC on 0345 600 80 80 and they will be able to move you past this stage or tell you about the appeals process if it caused you to get rejected. This sounds like you failed the OMQ. If you put in an appeal it will be reviewed by doctors who will then make the decision if you can continue or not.
