Congratulations on gaining your PPL - that's great stuff, especially during a pandemic!
Whilst this might help you on grading (the final stage of the pilot selection process) it won't necessarily guarantee you a place on the pilots course. You still need to successfully complete Sandhurst and be chosen at the interview stage.
In my experience, colleagues who already have a PPL find the aptitude tests and grading a lot easier but ultimately you need to be up the standard as an officer too.
