If the army stayed in England they could unblock watercourses that could help prevent floods. Also wander about in woodland and other places with cavadar dogs.
My question was ~ Is there any possibility of a territorial army. Also worried about the criminal underworld especially on the subject of missing people and the different type of cellars different buildings have.

This is a rather niche question to upack.
So I'll just get straight to the point. We already have a Territorial Army (Reserves). As for the rest, you'd be better placed voicing your concerns with specifics to the Police.

I am not sure the police can do that work. They can not enter a building without a warrant. My concern is missing persons, maybe held in cellars. There are a lot of old buildings in the uk.
