You don't need any formal qualifications to join as an Aviation Communication Specialist, so your apprenticeship won't have any bearing on your application if you want to become one.
You'll still need to complete trade training if you join the Army and civilian qualifications won't grant you a pass. Military training often differs from civilian training, and we need to make sure that everyone has the same foundation knowledge. However, if you already have a comprehensive understanding, this could help you develop and pass assessments ahead of your peers.
