Hi Frankie, unsure on if we have a serving Chef on here.
As there aren't alot of us on the platform i'm happy to put my 50 pence in from what i know.
Chef's have the ability to travel even more then most Soldiers. why? Because a Soldier marches on their stomach so they are everywhere we have a footfall. Because of this they have the ability to be attached to any unit.
You could join not knowing how to cook and we will teach you, there have been several places i have been throughout my career where you could be exposed to Michelin star chefs who work alongside many of our serving military chefs. So if you are looking to enhance your skillset in this field you'll be well placed to do so.
