I’m currently a trained pharmacy dispenser, would I need to become a technician before applying?

I already have my training and qualifications for a pharmacy dispenser - yet I’m keen to enrol in the pharmacy technician role. I’m curious if I would need to be a qualified technician before I apply to be a pharmacy technician within the army?
