Hi, great question and you are certainly keen. Look at the fitness requirements and get yourself as fit as you can - it'll make training that much easier, also keep interested in current affairs and where the army is today and what it's up to. If you have a local Army Cadet Force in your area you could consider joining. If you have an idea about what part of the army you'd like to join, do some research and if you don't then look over the Army Website as there may be jobs / trades you weren't even aware the army had that might spark an interest.
