I'm Applying for a Chef position, and have some time off already booked. Who is the correct person to tell? Thank you.

If you have already started basic training it is highly unlikely that you will get time off except for compassionate reasons.

If you have not yet started, depending how far through the application process you are, let your recruiter know when you are unavailable and they won't book assessment, or any other events over that period.

    Sam,

Thank you very much. Only just applied in the last couple of days, haven't heard from a recruiter yet. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

No problem, once you start comms with your recruiter just let them know of any important dates etc. and they will work around them.

Good luck with the application process, feel free to get in touch.

    Hi Adam,

It might be worth contacting your lead recruiter pre-emptively (Details on the bottom right corner of your candidate portal).

I appreciate every office is different, but in ours, we contact candidates on the same day as applying and book in the next couple of steps (Army Brief, Career Discussion).

    Michael,

I'll get on that sharp, can't hurt. Thank you for the pointer.
