What you do about your menstrual cycle is a personal decision, but there are lots of options for you to consider. Some soldiers prefer not to have a period when they are on exercise or deployed, and your GP/medical officer will be able to advise you on this. Some soldiers prefer to keep having periods, and if that is the case, there are policies in place to ensure this is as easy as possible for you to manage.
I wouldn't worry about it, usually you will get advice on this subject when you start training, and there are always other women around who you can talk to as well.
