Hi Sherelle,
To help prepare, I would recommend doing plenty of research into roles that you're interested in and the training that is involved. The main Army website and the Army Jobs website are good places to start. A good understanding of the joining process and your chosen role will help you to stand out in your assessment, and you'll know what to expect in Basic Training.
A lot of people worry about fitness but we're not expecting you to be at your peak when you start basic training (you will be when you leave), so train enough to pass the entry requirements with ease and you'll have no problem.
Other than that, there isn't much you need to do because all the training is aimed at developing people with no experience at all into trained soldiers.
I hope that helps to answer your question.
