I have recently quit smoking, I’m a bad runner and want to improve quickly, how can I do this without injuring myself?

I have recently completed my initial briefing and have been cycling and swimming everyday to lessen the impact of running on my joints because I don’t want shin splints.

Hi, it already sounds like you are training sensibly which is great. You might want to look at downloading the free 100% army fit app. This will give you a virtual personal trainer and might help with motivation too. It also tracks your progress. Just keep building up slowly and you'll get there! Good luck.
