    Hi Cam,

Thanks for reaching out and asking your question.

As you might be aware, to join the British Army as an officer you’ll need:

    • 35 ALIS points from 7 subjects at GCSE, at least grade C/4 in English Language, Maths and either Science or a foreign language
    OR
    • 34 ALIS points from 7 subjects in SNQs, at least grade C/2 in English Language, Maths and either Science or a foreign language

    PLUS

    • 72 UCAS Tariff points from a maximum of 3 subjects (4 for Scottish Highers and excluding General Studies) with a minimum of 2 at National Level 3 (excluding AS Levels) or National or International equivalent.

If you don’t meet these standards at present could you consider doing a subject now to raise your points? You could consider going to a college, learning virtually, or doing a subject via hybrid means.

If not, and you believe you should still be considered, it would be worth calling 0345 600 8080 to discuss your specific situation.

    Good luck,

    Katie
