I have a history of depression due to issues with family. I’m not currently on medication but have visited the hospital for help before. Would this hinder my joining please? Thanks

No, it will not stop you from applying for the Army.
Your medical history/state will be assessed during your application process and they will make the decision if you are fit to join or not.
