Yes, absolutely. For me this was one of my main motivations for wanting to join the Army. I grew up seeing the impact our Armed Forces were having on the world and decided that I wanted to be part of that difference rather than sitting and watching it unfold from home.
I can honestly say that I have felt I have made a difference through the work I have been involved in with the Army, it has been incredibly rewarding and I have felt that I have been part of something which is far greater than myself.
