If so how long do you have to be symptom free and off the medication
Hi, unfortunately this would make you not eligible. The Army has to look seriously at the mental health and wellbeing of all its soldiers (regardless of rank and job role). The Army has to put its soldiers / officers in situations that might be uncomfortable and difficult - ultimately we are all trained to fight in a war / conflict situation. If you are on medication now potentially the army could make you much worse and with a 'duty of care' to look after its people it just cannot take the risk to exacerbate any issues.
