Hi there,
I would strongly suggest that if you would like to join the Army at the end of your A-Levels that you get you application in as soon as you can. This allows us to get the ball rolling with the medical and residency checks and then we can load you to a training course that begins at the end of your Year 13.
If it is a soldier career you are looking at then each of our roles has a specific GCSE requirement with the highest being around English, Maths and Science Grade 4-9. If it's an officer career then it is 72 UCAS Points at A or T-Level.
Hello, thank you for getting back to me. I wondered if it also mattered if I take different subjects (A-Levels) in comparison to the job role. I take English Literature & Language, Sociology, health and social and EPQ. I wondered if that affected anything?
Hi Chloe,
Which subjects you do has no impact on your role. We are simply looking for 72 UCAS points at that level so it’s always good to chose those that you enjoy!
