I am thinking of joining the reme as a VM however don't know what to expect in the terms of the free time you get.

Hi, I am wondering this as I very much like working on vehicles such as motorbikes cars and would love to learn to work on anything there is to offer however also love to go camping and want to try stuff such as mountaineering and am wondering if I would be able to do those whilst in the army

    as an attached arms such as REME, VM. I am very familiar with this role as it's something i have work a large portion of my career supporting.


    38 Days a year with most weekends off too. Cars and large military style vehicles (varying on type/platform based on unit assigned to) will become your best friend. I earnt a mountaineering qualification myself last year in the stunning area of Bavaria, covering areas over Austria and Liechtenstein
