Hi there, whats making you have seconds thoughts about joining?
Personal stuff thats made me no longer want to be away for long amounts of time my nan has became seriously ill and i am possibly getting married soon so regular army just no longer seems possible to balance with army life, would it be possible for me to go reserve? As i am yet to accept my final offer as i would like to stay somewhat in army life as i do enjoy it so reserve would be perfect its just wether i could actually swtich to that before training start
Hi Louis, All new recruits, who have completed 28 days’ service and having given 14 days’ notice from
point of attestation, have a right to discharge within the first 3 months of service.
If you really don't want to join, speak to your recruiter at the Army Careers Centre, explain the situation and they'll be able to cancel your intake date and change your application over to a reserve application.
