will they be able to help me continue my career path
Hello,
While I am able to give advice to those who are studying at medical school in the UK, I am not sure from your question if this applies to you?
All doctors who wish to work in the UK must complete their foundation years in an approved hospital - these are all hospitals in the UK and a small number of hospitals abroad.
If you are eligible to join the army as a doctor it is certainly an excellent opportunity to continue your career, although it does depend on what you wish to specialise in, as the army don't employ the full range of secondary care specialists.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible to join as a doctor, please start an application and the Army Medical Services recruiting team should be able to advise you further. Alternatively please contact our helpline on 0345 600 8080.
