I am currently studying Paramedic Science and hope to become a CMT. Would this give me an advantage to train as a CMT?
i understand i will need further training to deal with trauma in the field, but will i receive a shortened phase 2 due to my knowledge of the medical field and having already gain a degree in Paramedics?

Hi,
Phase 2 is phase 2.
Things you have learned may be taught in a different way within phase 2. Yes you will have an advantage due to already knowing a lot/some of the information but you will be taught to administer first aid care - Under fire.
