I am looking to help people with mental health in the army
Hi Chris,
While the Army certainly works with psychologists, I am not sure if we currently recruit and employ them within our regular forces. The best option would be to start an application and discuss your qualifications with our recruitment team, they will be able to advise which roles may be suited to you.
The other option would be to keep an eye on the civil service jobs website for psychology jobs with the ministry of defence. Many clinicians who work in both military medical centres and the department of community mental health (DCMH) are civilians employed by the MOD.
