I've been a qualified dental nurse for a few years and am wondering if I join the army would I be able to progress and train to become a dental hygienist?
I am not aware of any programmes that allow you to do this, the dental hygienist role is carried out by a qualified dentist. However their are roles for dental nurses if this is something that you would be interested in. there are also programmes to help assist you such as bursaries etc to be able to help meet the dentist qualification visit the two links below and they will tell you more.
