I am 24 years old and have been diagnosed with schizophrenia is there still a chance I can join the army in some way

I’m 24 years old and have been diagnosed with schizophrenia since I was 19 that was drug induced from Marajuana. After a childhood I can only describe as disappointing from parenting roles. This lead me to weed. It was always my dream to join the army from being as young as I knew I should support Manchester United. My father was tank regiment my grandfather was RAF too and my step father was in the infantry he who raised me was from Grimsby. My question is asking whether or not it is likely/unlikely if I would ever be able to join even as a royal engineer. Or armourer.

All medical conditions are filtered out during the medical stage however if you do not qualify for the Army directly there are plenty of Civil servant jobs that are related to the Army that you may be able to join.
